PSHS BULLETIN BULLETS  

  • Seniors:  Fort Lewis College is giving us a "Free Application Day" on Wednesday, October 12.  There is an appointment sheet in the counselor's office.  Before that day, you must complete your online application at fortlewis.edu.  Submit this application without payment.  In your appointment you will find out if you are accepted and even about scholarship money you will be offered!  Plus, it's free! (may be you picked that up from the name).  Come to the counselor's office to sign up, and then apply online.

  • Students, yearbooks are on sale for the best price of the year.  Pick up an order form in the office or yearbook room and order yours today.  Prices go up in October.

  • Seniors, senior deadline for pictures, quote, baby picture, and parent's wishes is Oct. 31.  There is information outside the yearbook room.  See Mrs. Cap or any of this year's yearbook staff for more information. 

  • Students, if you are interested in working with the After School Tutoring, it will start the week of Monday, October 3rd. Tutoring is Mon-Thurs 3:30-5:00 and the pay is $8.25 an hour. Please pick up an application in the front office

  • Juniors, the PSAT/NMSQT exam will be given here on Wednesday, October 19, during the morning.  There is a $15 fee for the exam.  It is a wonderful test to prepare for the SAT, and this exam is the door to the National Merit Scholarship.  There is a limited number of students who can take the test.  Sign up in the counselor's office.

 

  • The FBLA fall retreat will be Oct. 10th. To join, pick up forms from Mrs. Cap or Ms. Dickerson.  Forms must be signed and returned in order to attend the retreat.  Don't miss out on this opportunity!
  • Seniors:  We are going to have an evening in the B14 computer lab to do your FAFSA!  On Monday, October 17, from 5:30-7:30, the finance director from Fort Lewis College will bring some helpers so you and your parents will have expert help to complete your FAFSA!

    What you need: 

    1.  2015 tax returns, for you and your parent.

    2. Yourself

    3. A parent

    4. About 30 minutes                                                                                    Also, this is during the Parent/Teacher Conference so you can kill two birds with one stone.  This is a great opportunity to get a necessary chore done.  Take advantage of it!

  • Saturday, Oct. 1 is the homecoming dance.  It is $5 for singles and $8 for a couple.  The dance will last from 8:30 pm to 11:00 pm.  See you there!
